Youth
Our Youth Programs provide services to prepare middle school and high school students for academic and personal success. A few ways we achieve this is with leadership development, self-esteem building, math enrichment, service learning, career exploration and social justice awareness.

Teens Taking Action
This is a leadership development and service-learning program, supporting students to become social justice leaders in our community.
Our program engages students, 12-19 years old learning about racial justice, gender equity, and food insecurity while strengthening our emotional intelligence, mental health, and relationship building.
Also, we host monthly Saturday volunteer events for teens to receive service hours while giving back to their community. We are a certified organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award.

Mi Carrera
Mi Carrera is an empowerment program for girls in middle or high school to stay engaged in school, build self-esteem, and explore academic and career options. We support young women in developing the technical skills, interpersonal skills, emotional awareness, and self-efficacy necessary to become the critical thinkers, effective leaders, responsible entrepreneurs, and social innovators of the future. Once a semester we offer our students a free college tour to visit a local or out-of-city university. We facilitate groups in-school to any campuses in NISD, NEISD, SAISD, EISD, HISD, SSISD, and SWISD.

E=MC²
This stands for Empowerment equals Mi Carrera to the next level! This program serves youth of color in 4th-9th grade, that are at-risk of not being math proficient for their grade level. We want to improve our young peoples’ skills in mathematics and digital literacy to improve their confidence and academic success. We facilitate sessions of T.E.K.S aligned curriculum throughout the school year in an after school settings at campuses in HISD, EISD, SAISD, ECISD, and NISD.
