Early Childhood Education
Childcare and early education programs are critical to promoting child development and success in school and are vital for helping parents obtain and retain employment.
Childcare is available Monday thru Friday: 7am - 6pm
The YWCA San Antonio offers preschool and afterschool childcare services for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Children are exposed to age-appropriate, educational activities that improve cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being. Our goal is to provide children with activities and experiences that promote optimal growth and development.

Tuition for Early Childhood Education is on a weekly rate and is dependent on availability and age. Fill out an interest form or call us for more information.
After School (Pre-K up to 12 yrs):
We offered After School pick up from the following campuses:
Compass Rose Ingenuity
Staford ECC
Ester Perez Carvajal Elementary
Las Palmas Elementary School
Jose Cardenas Elementary School
Students will be bused to the Olga Madrid Center where they will receive activities and experiences that promote optimal growth and development. Students receive a nutritious snack, homework assistance, tutoring, and other school-related assistance in a program that is designed to be an extension of the educational school day. The Summer Camp program’s payment is on a weekly basis. Please contact us for more information.
*CCS accepted Unitedway Scholarship/Grant (money order or cash) fee; in-person registration

We offer a 25% discount if you have multiple children. (only 25% per family) This is limited to siblings, not eligible for cousins.

Yes, you can apply to the CCS program. They will review your application, put you on a list and they will let you know your status. Check the eligibility requirements.

This program only offers 20 spots at our location. The children who receive free tuition are selected by the City of San Antonio Early Head Start coordinators. If you would like to apply you can visit their website.
